It’s been a while since our last newsletter, so thought now is a better time than ever to update you all on what’s going on with Waddell.
In January last year, Chuck had a medical emergency that required him to step down as manager indefinitely. His son, Chip, stepped up and took over the day-to-day tasks, while Chuck remains a vital resource in the background.
Chuck is doing well, and comes into the office a couple times per week to check in on us and make sure things continue to operate as usual.
We are optimistic about Chuck’s health and he will continue to be an integral part of the company.
Besides Chuck’s medical issues, 2016 was overall a fantastic year for us. We had a record high year in sales, largely in part to some sizable projects we were excited to be a part of.
One of these projects, which began in late 2015, consisted of over 900 valves. We had some hurdles along the way, but we are happy with the end result, and our customers seem to be as well.
Another project we are quite proud of, was for a controls contractor in Illinois. We provided over 75 valves and over 40 fume hood monitors and sash position sensors.
We are excited to see what 2017 holds for us.
